Port Otago has recently upgraded a significant portion its surrounding land and infrastructure, including a newly built car park for company employees. With the parking area built across different levels and adjacent to a busy road used by a large volume of heavy transport, extra protection was warranted over and above the concrete walls and steel fencing installed. Port Otago management have been exceptionally responsible and diligent with their upgrade, conscious of protecting the newly built areas as well as the staff and vehicles using the site every day. There is a high level of Health & Safety awareness on site, with the personal safety of staff paramount. Further installation of Tru-Gard™ is ongoing including bollards, hand rail and barrier configurations, so watch this space for more project photos to come!
