Tru-Gard™ at Processing Factory

This project was the first one using our newly designed wall-mounting bracket to attach the similarly new Tru-Gard™ telescopic gate to a flat surface. In this case, the gate was attached directly to an I-beam at the corner of a building at a meat processing plant.

Historically, the most popular way to install a Tru-Gard™ gate was to mount the hinge side to a Tru-Gard™ mounting post (the same type of post as seen on the opposite side of this gate), or alternatively, to a bollard using a Tru-Gard™ bollard-mounting bracket. But in recent times, we have received a growing number of enquiries (like this one) for gates to be installed in tight areas and attached directly onto existing infrastructure. So we developed this mounting bracket for flat surfaces. It works a treat!

The Tru-Gard™ telescopic gate is designed to provide a variable width by extending to fully cover the maximum space. The gate will range from 800mmW to 1400mmW, which is based on our research of the average space available for personnel gates at most sites. Once optimum coverage is achieved, screws can fix the sliding section in place and secure the precise width.
