Like any Chep warehouse around the world, this branch has a lot of machinery working at close quarters with humans on foot. Our solution for protecting the staff was the installation of pedestrian zones surrounded by certified safety barrier. This barrier project is comprised of double-railings attached to 910mmH support posts, with the addition of personnel gates to allow exit and entry points to the main warehouse floor. Here is a good example of the double-gate system; perfect for areas of high foot traffic as you can nominate one gate for outgoing foot traffic and one for incoming.
